INHERIT – Culture is Green gains visibility through our partners’ dedication

The INHERIT project, under the motto “Culture is Green”, is increasingly gaining visibility thanks to the active commitment of our partners. The Arouca UNESCO Global Geopark has been at the forefront of these efforts, promoting the project at a wide range of tourism and cultural events.

Among these, the Arouca Geopark participated in BTL – Lisbon Travel Market, one of Portugal’s largest and most influential tourism fairs. By presenting INHERIT to a diverse audience of professionals, enthusiasts, and stakeholders, AGA is helping to highlight the critical role that cultural heritage plays in sustainable tourism.

These outreach activities are not only raising awareness about the project’s goals but are also fostering dialogue on how cultural heritage can be preserved while contributing to local economic and social development. Through such initiatives, INHERIT and its partners are building a stronger network across Europe, encouraging communities and organizations to integrate sustainability into cultural and tourism practices.
